The beaches on the west coast of Florida are some of the best we have ever seen. The pure white sand is very fine which makes it cool to the feet.

On Tuesday we reacquainted ourselves with the warmth of the sun, after spending the last three months in the frigid cold of Iowa.
On Monday, we had to have our Cincinnati Skyline Chili fix. There are three Skyline restaurants along the west coast of Florida for the many Cincinnatians that spend the winter in Florida.
Over the last week, Jim and Bill have been working to catch a variety of fish for our feast. There was more than enough fish for all 11 or us.
After driving for three straight days, we arrived in Florida on Saturday, January 29th. We decided to spend a night in Tampa so we could visit Camping World to pick up some parts for the motorhome. The following day, we arrived in Fort Myers Beach around noon. That evening, Jim Hudson had a fish fry for the group from Iowa that are spending the winter here. Betty & Bill were our master oyster chefs.
